The mahogany is cured and treated at our own factory to avoid warping and twisting over the years and a special keyhole slot is recessed into the rear to ensure a flush fitting on ay wall surface. I am a USCG Aux member and I work out of the Coast Guard Station at St. Joseph, MI. I saw the plaque and took pictures of it. The relief is superior. It is fantastic. Extremely detailed and color is sharp. An A+ still isn’t good enough. It has to be an A +++++++. Great job. I will be ordering some plaques in the near future. Just ran across this site today.
